Poplar Cottage
We are delighted to present Poplar Cottage, a beautifully appointed self-catering holiday home in the stunning North Cornwall coast village of Port Isaac.
This charming cottage, nestled on Dolphin Street—the iconic setting for the Doc Martin series—comfortably sleeps up to five guests in three spacious bedrooms. It features an en-suite bathroom and a traditional kitchen with a combined dining/living room, complete with a cosy log burner set in a Cornish stone fireplace. This layout is perfect for families, with the picturesque harbour only a short stroll away.
For your relaxation, Poplar Cottage offers two delightful gardens and an allocated parking space approximately 200 yards from the property.
Poplar Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the village, being just a stone's throw from the beach, local pubs, cafés, and galleries. Culinary enthusiasts will appreciate that renowned chef Nathan Outlaw's two restaurants are within walking distance. We also recommend experiencing Port Isaac’s unique charm on a "walk and talk" tour hosted by John Brown of the Fisherman's Friends, who often perform on the Platt in summer.
For water activities, Polzeath (surfing) and Rock (boating and sailing) are a short drive away. A ferry to the bustling harbour town of Padstow is also available from Rock.
We are pleased to welcome one pet by arrangement. Please note that care should be taken with children and the elderly on the raised garden area.
