On the weekend of October 3rd and 4th 2026, Port Isaac will once again be ringing out to the sound of shanty groups singing their hearts out in our small village by the sea. We spoke to one of the weekend’s co-founders and organisers, Dee Littlechild, to find out more about what to expect.

On the evening of Wednesday December 10^th this year, Truro Cathedral will be welcoming Port Isaac singing groups to share their community Christmas carols and traditions with one and all at this free service.

We are delighted to share the news that after the much loved Padstow Christmas Festival, one of the highlights of Cornwall’s Christmas Calendar, was cancelled in 2024, this year the Padstow Christmas Fayre has risen to take its place.

Here in Port Isaac the village certainly quietens down after the October half term holidays, which is perfect if you are looking for a quiet, cosy, break to recharge your batteries. Embrace the long lie-ins, blow away the cobwebs with a blustery walk along the coast path, light the log burner and break out some board games or that book, and enjoy fantastic food with family and friends.

For four days this September, from Thursday 25th through to Sunday 28th, the North Cornwall Book Festival returns to St Endellion, just outside Port Isaac, with another fantastic line-up of author talks and workshops for fans of literature.

Whether you are a wildlife or bird-watching enthusiast, or on a family holiday looking for a fun day out with your children or grandchildren, one of the most incredible and memorable things to do during your stay in Port Isaac is to hop on a boat trip with Wavehunters.

North Cornwall Book Festival is set to return to St Endellion for four days at the end of September, running from Thursday 26^th to Sunday 29^th with a characteristically interesting and intimate programme.

At the end of this month, Port Isaac’s parish church of St Endellion will once again host an incredible array of musicians and singers performing opera, choral, orchestral, chamber and recital concerts for the 2024 St Endellion Summer Festival.

As the seasons shift from winter to spring, Cornwall comes into bloom. Ranging from coastal thrift to the woodland bluebell, an array of colour blankets the floor and lines the coast path, attracting bees, bugs and wildflower enthusiasts.

Port Isaac is perfectly situated for walking holidays, or simply for a walk during your holiday, with the iconic South West Coast Path running through the village and along the coast in both directions.

Over the weekend of April 19th – 21st 2024 Port Isaac will once again host its amazing FREE music festival celebrating the songs of the sea.
